About Us
Welcome to St. Francis Nursery and Primary Vocational school. It gives me great joy to see the dream of providing accessible and quality education to young people in our community becoming a reality. Growing up in a rural area, I experienced the challenges many children from poor families face in accessing education in Uganda. These experiences inspired me to work towards creating opportunities for young people so that they can learn, grow, and build a better future. A future full of opportunities attained in a variety of skills attained in the school for personal spiritual social and economic transformation.

St.Francis nursery and Primary Vocational School was established to offer an education that forms the intergarl person. We believe that education is not only about academic knowledge, but also about developing moral values, practical skills, and a sense of responsibility toward society.
Our goal is to prepare young people to become responsible citizens, who are economically self reliant, leaders, and servants of their communities who aspire for communial general welfare and development.
I am deeply grateful to all partners, supporters, teachers, parents, and friends who continue to contribute to the growth of this school and to the education of our young people to towards achieving an economically empowered and transformed society.

Why the Name "St. Francis"?
Our identity rests on two strong pillars
- The founder, Fr. Kiiza John was inspired by the life of St. Francis of Assisi because of his simplicity, love for the Poor people and love for nature, and his life is summerised in Peace and goodness a treasure for a human person for ahealthy society, and indeed the foundation for social and economic transformation rooted in the love of God and neigbour.
- So the name reflects the values which the school intends to intill in the children. Secondly, The name is choosen in Memory of Fr. Muhenda Francis Adyeri, a child of this village Katoma, who loved nature so much, planted alot of trees, and as a priest strived to empower people towards self reliance and social transformation.
